Porta-Potty - New Paltz, NY

Typically, I wouldn't be offering praise for a "Johnny-On-The-Spot," HOWEVER, outside looking in (minus the interior!) what a surprise!  Notice the flowers & potted plants bordering the entrance, nestled nicely in the back corner of the parking lot in the shade & out of the noonday sun.

And, believe it or not ---> one gigantic plus.....this one had HAND SANITIZER!!  I was amazed.  

So, if you're ever in hiking outside of New Paltz near Lake Winnewaska - don't think twice about making a quick pit stop! 

Since Porta-Potties can only be judged on a "3 Roll" maximum - I would have to give this porta-potty experience a 3.  (Again, not factoring in the inside!) 

Croton Creek Steakhouse

Friendliest Spot I've been to in years!!!  Nice touch with the candles, running water and even some classical music (any noise distraction is a plus!) 

I could've eaten my meal in here!!! 

Hands down = 5 ROLLS!!! 

Strawberries Restaurant, Nyack, NY

Now I know why they called them "Water Closests!"  This thing is TINY!  Could barely pivot! 

Very 'UN'friendly.  In dire need of a make-over.  Nothing worse, then having to make your nest and then you're forced to hover (and sideways at that!) 

My recommendation - SKIP IT!  Might want to try the gas station next door.   1.4  ROLLS

Make a point to stop in here to experience a "must see!"   Great filet mignon, too!  But I'm not here to rate the food!

Mexicana Mama (by Union Square)

First off....this is hands down "THE" best Mexican food in Manhattan!  (maybe the WORLD!)  Food is just amazing (ate there last night, as a matter of facto!)  This location on 12th St - the friendly spots are slightly more friendly then on Hudson.  Although, difficult to get to -- steep stairwells (but candlelight), tight corners, small spaces (seen larger closests) and in the basement.  Not so appealing.  

As someone put it.... you can see how easily it could be to "make a mistake" on which one to use!?  :)  (HA! Funny, Juls)

However, we do not go there the restrooms, but the grub!!!  It's a 2 roller!  

Aroma Cafe (on Houston)

Very clean, plenty of space to maneuver around ... which can be tough to find in NYC.  And, the the exceptional tile work, gives it that comfortable feel!  Annnnd, always a plus to have some air freshener readily available.  Overall rating = 3.5 rolls!

Secret Location in Holbrook, NY

This may have been one of the worst smelling restrooms in the history of restrooms! This porcelain has succumb to major damage over the years! And, it's very possible this bathroom could be older than me! There is already one plunger down, I give it another = 2 plungers way down!

Teller's Restaurant in Long Island, NY

If you're ever out on "Strong" Island (as some say!) you must stop by this 5 star establishment just to drop off any unnecessary weight.  Absolutely Friendliest Spot I've seen in years!  Which is worthy of the Royal Crown of 5 Rolls!  See video below....(doesn't quite do it justice!)

Unfriendly vs. Friendly "Urinals"

Example #1 - You mainly see types like this in California or near beaches. Majority, very 'unfriendly' due to aromas!

Rating = 2 Plungers DOWN!!! Just grosssssss....

Example #2 - Uncomfortable??? Ahhh, yeaaaah..... but very friendly (and hospitable).

Rating = 3.5 Rolls
And then, Example #3 -- This one I've never actually witnessed this myself -- so location unknown. However, definitely worthy of showing. Fit for a king an extremely Friendly Spot.

This is a mediocre attempt at creating a "Nest!" But, I've seen worse....point is.....flush when you're done! And what is that spot in the corner on the floor!?!

A picture is worth a thousand words!   Empty TP roll, no paper towels, and fellas - just a standard to live by....
